A soap manufacturer is marketing a soap claiming that the soap can be used for washing clothes in any kind of Water. Later, it is formed that the soap does not work with the groundwater.

Shruti Srivastva Groundwater is hard water and it contains Ca+2 and Mg+2 salts which react with soap produce a curdy precipitate that adheres to the fabric as gummy mass and blocks the ability of soap to remove dirt.
