Question 2. Asked on :23 August 2019:04:39:24 PM

What is the role of the split ring in an electric motor?

-Added by Himanshi Verma Science » Ch 13

Answer:

priyanshu kumar
Split ring played as a role of a commutator  in an electric motor. The commutator reverses the direction of the current flowing through the coil. Due to this reversal of current, the coil continues to rotate in the same direction.
