When the solution of sodium hydrogen carbonate is heated it is decomposed into sodium carbonate water and carbon dioxide the following reaction takes place when sodium hydrogen carbonate is heated.

 Thermit reaction is the reaction in which 3 parts of iron oxide and one part of aluminium is taken and ignited by burning magnesium and barium peroxide. Aluminium is reducing agent so it reduces iron oxide to molten iron.
