What is differences between speed and velocity?

1. It is a scalar quantity.
2. It is a distance covered in unit time.
3. Average speed of moving object can not be zero. 
4. Speed of an object can never be zero. 
1. It is a vector quantity.
2. It is a displacement covered in unit time with direction.

or zero.
