Stars and planets moves continuously around the its nearest star on a path is called an orbit. Our earth takes one revolution in a year on it's orbit. 


Path of the Earth moving around the sun is also called orbit.

 When the earth moves around the sun on it's path called orbit to complete one round is known as revolution. The earth takes 1 year to complete its one revolution this causes seasonal changes and leap year.

Master Mind
There are lives on the Earth while other planets have not so. The Earth is only planet where life axists. It has all necessary life supporting gases like oxygen, air, water and atmosphere to support life. The Earth is neither too hot and nor too cold. This is reason, the Earth is called unique planet.

Stars:- The stars are the ball of hot burning gases. They have their own light and heat. 

They are bigger than the planets.

They moves slowly.

Planets:- Some Planets have their own light and heat  but some planets have not. 

They have a fixed path called orbit.

They have their own natural satellites but some have not.
